Topography of Solitude (catalogue)
Product detailed description
Michal Škoda (*1962) has spent his entire career exploring themes such as image, space, architecture, and the place of the human being. These themes are realized by Škoda in parallel across various media. This time, the artist was "tempted" by the conventional format of painting, which he interprets in his own abstract, geometric way with a specific transcendence. In the catalog, spanning nearly eighty pages, we find more than thirty canvases from Škoda’s recent painting chapter (2020–2022), both in the form of reproductions and photographs from the exhibition at the Telegraph Gallery. These are complemented by curatorial texts by Silvia L. Čúzyová and Petr Vaňous. The catalog is written in both Czech and English.
With the purchase of the catalogue we will include a free guide to the Topography of Solitude exhibition.
