SIGNAL I (catalogue)
Product detailed description
The inaugural edition of a series of exhibitions that each year reveal a new face of the Robert Runták Collection, one of the largest collections of contemporary and modern art in Central Europe. The authors of the installation, Martin Drábek and David Vojtuš, did not focus on the works themselves, but on the phenomenon of collecting as such. Just as a collector changes his collection over time, the exhibition itself has also changed - works have been removed or added to it over time. The nearly 100-page publication is a novel compilation of reproductions of the exhibited works and photographs from the exhibition, a curatorial text by Martin Drábek and a commentary by the owner of the collection, Robert Runták. The catalogue is written in Czech and English.
