Once Again, Please (catalogue)
Product detailed description
The repetitive principle, the repetition of certain motifs, elementary elements or ideas, appears in many forms and manifestations in Czech visual art. The catalogue recalls the works presented in the exhibition, which boldly transcended the discourse of historical groups and tendencies and pointed out - in conventional terms, almost unthinkable - relationships between specific works by twenty-six Czech artists, including representatives of the contemporary young and middle generation as well as iconic personalities of Czech art of the second half of the 20th century. Martina Mrázová's curatorial text is complemented by thirty-two photographs and reproductions of works that were part of the exhibition at the Telegraph Gallery. The catalogue is written in Czech and English.
