Ivan Pinkava's work has long been anchored in the medium of classical photography. His distinctive visual language is based primarily on analogue black and white photography, which constantly oscillates between the representation of the human figure and still life. The leitmotif of Pinkava's work is a reflection on the symbols of visual culture and the awareness of one's own finitude. The exhibition at the Telegraph Gallery will present the artist's older and recent works side by side, with an emphasis on their development and mutual dialogue.
